Our shoes are designed for every day use. We use them everyday for running, gym, travel, casual, office, hiking (ie. everything).

Wouldn't recommend using them in snow because they aren't the warmest or most grippy (although we've used them in snow several times)

Currently yes. However Women with size UK men 7+ can obviously wear our shoes.

Yes. Our shoes are made in Dongguan, China in a factory owned by Grayson. One of our team members has known Grayson for many years and has visited his factory several times before. Grayson pays all employees well and the working conditions are good.

No, our shoes have rubber soles (which is an insulator). If you want to be grounded take off your shoes and socks and go for a walk in nature (highly recommend everyone does this regularly).

Size chart

Shoes fit true to size. If you’re in between sizes go half a size down.

Note that many running shoes from Nike, On, All Birds, Adidas fit small, so we recommend going a full size down compared to these brands running shoes.

If you haven't worn the shoes outside and they are clean, you can return / exchange them within 30 days of ordering for a full refund. Email help@basedbarefoot.com (subject: return) with your order number and we'll deal with things from there.Returns are FREE if you are in the UK. For international orders you will be responsible for the cost of your return.
